Angry Birds: Winter Games
8-Bit Shack welcomes everyone to the Angry Birds Winter Games level challenge.
We are re-releasing our Angry Birds game in a wintery scene with 50 brand new levels.
Think you can help the birds outsmart those sneaky pigs? Now's your chance! We're looking for creative, clever, challenging, and delightfully devious levels for Angry Birds Winter Games on the Apple ][. Build towering piggy hideouts, devise tricky defenses, and create puzzles that make players stop, think, aim... and then grin when everything comes crashing down! Build your levels and submit them! We're hoping you absolutely bury us in submissions, because we'd love nothing more than having so many fantastic levels that choosing which ones make the game becomes the hardest challenge of all.
Here is how it works!
Layout your level on the 12 x 7 grid. You can write "P" for pig, and "S" for stone, or design them on your computer and copy and paste the images you see below into the grid to get a better visualization.
This is your green pig. It requires 4 grid spaces and you can have any many of them as you want (technically 18). You must have at least one pig on a level.
This is the stone piece. You can put as many of these on the grid as you want. It takes up one grid space per stone.
You can specify how many birds will be available to launch at the pigs and their defenses. You can have a maximum of 9 birds each (red, blue and yellow). Stone damage: Blue birds (the most), Red birds (average), Yellow birds (least).
You can generate and submit as many level as you want - we will pick the top 50 to be included.
